3D Microblading

What is 3D Microblading?

3D Microblading is an innovative new method of drawing 3D hair strokes directly into the patient’s dermis, using a specially designed tool and all natural, cosmetic color pigments (unlike a permanent tattoo, where ink is deposited below the dermis). An improvement over eyebrow tattoos, the 3D method does not leave a flat, dull look and is much safer than tattoos since the ink fades over time, resulting in a much more natural-looking brow. The objective is to recreate natural-looking strokes that simulate the hair growth pattern, replicate the appearance of real hair, create the illusion of fuller hair, and conceal any thinning areas on the eyebrow.

Process and Benefits

Unlike other methods of treating thinning hair and hair loss, Microblading doesn’t alter the growth pattern of the patient’s natural hair. Pigment colors are custom blended for each client prior to the procedure and the brow shape is customized according to the patient’s face and bone structure. Results of Microblading can last from 1 to 2 years, but touch-up treatments can extend the life of the treatment. The Microblading technique is best for those who have naturally straight, wavy, or darker hair, and the results are immediate upon completion of the procedure.

Microblading sessions typically take approximately 1 hour for eyebrows, under topical anesthesia. It is an affordable treatment option, with minimal preparation required. However, biannual touch-ups are typically needed to refresh the color as it fades.
